Welcome to the Enka Schools Foundations Website!

To unite community, educators, and students in pursuit of excellence.

Dear Friends of the Enka School District:

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. The Enka Schools' Foundation (ESF) is a new organization in the Enka/Candler community created to help unite the community with educators and students in pursuit of excellence. This foundation exists to cooperate with the many other efforts that support the Enka/Candler community and our schools. It was felt by many that it would be valuable to have an organization that could help promote the district as a whole, from all the academic programs to athletics to all the many extracurricular opportunities.  Many of these have sponsors or boosters that provide regular support. ESF is intended to be supportive of these organizations but will not compete with or replace any of their vital work. Impacting those areas that none of these individual groups can impact alone will be the role of ESF.

ESF wants to improve communications between the community, educators, students, and the many groups that exist to help them. This website is part of that effort. ESF will be open to projects that can benefit from a broader partnership and promote excellence in the community and school system. We have partnered with the Biltmore Lake Charitable Fund started by Biltmore Farms to help identify beneficial projects for funding in our schools. Their Fund will be making major long term contributions to our schools. Two of our Board members serve on their advisory committee to help make funding decisions. ESF communicates with the school district to promote unity in applying for these funds. We appreciate their partnership.

We hope you will join with us as a donor or volunteer. Your donations are tax deductible and will help make a major impact on the future of our district. Feel free to contact any of our board members for more information. Thank you again for visiting.

Sincerely,

The Enka Schools' Foundation Board
